Rock/Pop leads cover production, being responsible for almost half of all the covers, even though it entered the music business almost late, during the 1950s. Here we explore the stake of each genre in terms of cover production per year.
In the course of the 20th century the single music genres had differing activity levels, ranging from only few years of high production to all century long activity. Here we can see the most active period for each genre.
