Hate Speech cannot be easily defined, but by agreement it expresses loathing and intolerance. The consequences can range from mere bullying or intimidation to actual violent events. IT Companies are trying to regulate Hate Speech with different approaches. This is a hard challenge because it is a controversial and debated phenomenon, as it lies in a complex nexus with free speech.

We personally believe in the existence of Hate Speech and we’re against every form of it, but we don’t think that censorship of contents offers the best solution to the problem. We think it’s important to show each opinion, and not silencing any. We want to show that there can be other valid solutions for content regulation besides censorship, like self-regulation.
Therefore, our aim is to let people actively experience the self-regulation of contents.
