Censorship requires people who censor and spend many hours watching all visual contents, including violence, that others won't see online. They are called content moderators, and their work is to decide if visual contents are appropriate for the policy of digital platforms. The research is aimed at defining the common profile of a human moderator through the worldwide job offers on LinkedIn.
Main Findings
In some clusters, like Working Hours, Responsibilities, Experience and Qualification, there is a sub-cluster more quoted than the other ones, instead of Skills, in which there is a lower gap between the sub-clusters.
In Qualification, two big sub-clusters are very different between each other: “no-qualification” and “Bachelor’s degree”.
There are some required skills, such as “detail orientation”, “empathy”, “enjoy listening to music” and “critical thinking”, that concern a more creative field.
